Sarah first learned to spin poi while traveling in Australia in 2002. She was first intrigued by fire spinning when she saw fire dancers practicing on the beaches of Byron Bay, NSW. It didn't take her long to find a pair of poi herself and to begin the fun practice of the art of fire spinning. When she returned to her home town of Victoria, B.C. in early 2003, she and Mike found that their spinning styles blended together beautifully. Some of her most memorable burns include: the Woodford Festival (Woodford, Queensland, Australia) 2002, Luminara Lantern Festival (2004 - 2007), the Pender Island Lantern Festival 2005 and Burning Man (BRC, Nevada) 2003, 2005 - 2007.
