Want to learn how to fire spin? These brand new fire poi are ready to use for fire spinners of any level and are made with the same materials we use for our performances.
Wick: Our wick is 2" x 1/8" of pure kevlarŪ engineered for excellent wear resistance at high service temperatures. While most synthetic textiles offer little protection beyond 350 degrees F. our wick offers continual protection to 650 degrees.
It is lightweight, has excellent strength and abrasive resistance, good flexibility, drapability and non-stretch characteristics.
Each large wick has 2.5 feet of Kevlar.
Each small wick has 1.5 feet of Kevlar.
Chain: We use nickel-plated chain with a working load of 200 lbs. The closed welded links are the best we've found for wraps and for fluid spinning in general. They are 18" long but we can also customize the length by request.
Finger Loops: The single loop leather finger straps are comfortable on the fingers and won't melt, if burned, unlike the nylon finger straps. Double finger straps are also availible upon request.
Every pair of fire poi sold includes a set of safety guidelines.
